WORK WORK WORK and MORE WORK
I'm already feeling overwhelmed. The rough draft for our narrative is due tomorrow. I haven't even started it because I've been so busy working every day. I'm quickly realizing that i'm going to need to adjust my availability at work a bit more, if they let me. At this rate I will never be able to keep up with anything. Not to mention the stressful part that it's a 5 page paper. English is my worst subject. So I also notice that I lack a lot of creativity and motivation for my work.

I understand exactly what you mean Amara, When it comes to writing a paper like this I don't know how I'm going to make it to five pages. And on top of that I have to worry about work from other classes.
ReplyDeleteI am also feeling really overwhelmed and stressed specially with this five page paper that I also haven't started because I can't think of anything good to write, so I am most likely going to be up for a while typing it and also trying to finish up other homework from my other classes that I left for the last minute, but I'm sure your going to find a way to adjust things better at work. Good Luck!

ReplyDeleteI am right there with you! I turned my paper in at 10PM today. Talk about last minute. Who knew it would be so difficult to come up with five pages of something. I totally understand the lack of creativity and motivation. As much as I would like to be more creative, English is just something that I have never been able to get into.
ReplyDeleteAmara, I'm surprised you are having problems writing. I listen to you speak in class and you seem very creative and have depth in the stories that are discussed. I have a terrible time being descriptive and finding the right words to say. My paper seems pretty flat. But this is our rough draft and we can tweak them. I feel like I'm being stretched in every direction as well. Work, kids and school is a lot to take on. This morning I printed out monthly calendars and I am going to make a homework schedule. I just need to stick to it! You will get through this!
